The United States Government has enacted a bill that allows you to receive up to $1,500.00 in the form of a tax credit. The reason behind this is their hope that people will buy newer more efficient stoves for their homes. The stove must be a 75%-efficient biomass (wood or pellet) burning stove, fireplace, or insert and placed into your home for service within 2009 or 2010. By doing this you will be saving energy costs and contributing to a greener earth. You are eligible for 30% of your cost (including parts and labor) up $1,500.00.
