The Echo gas heater is a tradition free standing stove that can be used as a primary home heater and/or space heater. Direct vent technology means that the combustion chamber is sealed and the combustion air is brought in from outside the house through the vent pipe. The Echo can be installed in front of an existing fireplace and vented up through the chimney (special pipe required) or vented directly back through an exterior wall or up vertically through the roof, if necessary. The Echo is rated as a room heater, not merely a decorative appliance, and is capable of generating 27,000 BTU's of heat. With the optional wall mounted thermostat the Echo can operate automatically once the pilot is lit. Remote thermostats are also available. Available in six porcelain enamel colors as well as traditional matte black the Echo can be built for either Natural or LP gas. Enamel colors are available in Ivory, Ebony Black, Cobalt Blue, Burgundy Red, Teal Green and Majolica Brown.
